Batwara meaning 'distribution of something separated into parts' truly justifies the title of the movie. The movie is about two brothers and their wives where the elder brother's wife Shanti (Sudha Chopra) creates differences within the family which leads to the division of ancestral property. Mohna (Mohan Singh Baggad) gets arrested in the case of younger brother's (Yogesh Chhabra) death which which makes him realise his mistake of not trusting his brother. History repeats again when his two sons fight for the same cause. Will the father let his sons fight for the property? Or would he be able to bind his family?
